Accommodation

We have designed, built, furnished and landscaped these nine ground floor self-contained holiday units and houses in three convenient locations to create a relaxed wilderness holiday atmosphere. They are each a short walk from Strahan’s main street, activity departure points, and major attractions. You can leave your car or bike in the free covered parking at your door while walking the short distance from Risby Cove to the centre of Strahan. These apartments and houses have a garden and wilderness surrounds, undercover outdoor furniture, and some have Harbour views. Every unit is more like home than a motel unit, and has free undercover parking at its front door.

Tasman – 3 Bedroom House

9 Innes Street

“Tasman” is a new 3 bedroom self contained freestanding house right next to “King” and “Kelly”. It has two bathrooms. The ramp to the house and the walk in shower make this easy for wheelchair access. The house has two queen bedrooms, and the third bedroom has a bunk set for two people.

The kitchen, dining and living areas are quite large. The free BBQ is on the large deck facing Macquarie Harbour. There is roomy undercover parking for two cars at your front door. This quiet residential area is a short walk to Strahan’s town centre, restaurants, take-aways, supermarket and activity booking and departures.

Units King and Kelly, or one house called “Flinders”

With views of Macquarie Harbour and Mount Sorell, and set within gardens in the hilltop residential area of Innes St. East, we have one studio called King, and a 2 bedroom apartment called Kelly under the same roof. They share the double garage, laundry, and front and back gardens.
King has a king bed, as well as a bathroom with wheelchair access, and ramp access from the garage.
Kelly has one queen bedroom, and one twin bedroom. The toilet is separate to the bathroom.
These two self contained units are often used by families as a freestanding 3 bedroom, two bathroom, 2 kitchen house. In this situation, we call it Flinders.

The Studios cater for 2 guests with a queen bed at one end of the large room which also has the dining table and lounge area. There is a double sofa bed in Unit 3. This unit has a ramp and walk in shower, allowing wheelchair access. They each have a large bathroom. Unit 3 is over the road from the harbour and has garden surrounds, while Unit 2 is built within wilderness.

These 2 bedroom apartments have a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 singles in the other. Units 4 and 5 have a double sofa bed in the large living areas, suitable for children. These 2 bedroom apartments can cater for 4-6 guests, and have the toilet separate to the bathroom. Unit 4 has a harbour view. Unit 5 has garden surrounds, and Unit 1 is within wilderness.

Our new spacious house which can cater for 6-8 guests, has two queen bedrooms and a bedroom with two single beds. There is a double sofa bed in the living area. The bathroom has a bath, and the toilet is in a separate room. This house is built within wilderness.
